Web Site Development

  Web site development was a very fun experience. Using HTML codes and finding new ways to upgrade your website. It was so easy to just go on google and search up HTML codes and write it in your document and it appears on your websites. It was just so easy to create a website for the first using google websites.

Learning Reflection - Following Instructions + Computers

 Well from what we did last week in, class was and explain showing how computers listen to orders then a human. We had teams of four and we had to give instructions on how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to a robot. So we had to be very specific in what we said because, a robot might take the directions in a different way. From this activity I have learned that computers comprehend things less then humans. 

Data, Modeling and Design

C. A. D. was used in this Photoshop project by me editing the picture with all the tools that are in Photoshop. My experience with Photoshop was great I been using this program since 7th grade so I knew how to use everything. Some advantages of the tools is you can edit your pictures more easier. One disadvantage is someone can make a fake image of you doing the wrong thing by using the tools. One way C. A. D. can impact politics positive by editing a picture of you doing something good. One way C. A. D. can impact politics in a negative way by one of the people you are running against makes a fake image of you doing something bad.

Web 1.0-3.0

I learned a lot for this one unit. One thing I learned is that the search engines are filtering what you search up which is called "personalization". I also found out that there is more the just google and Bing as search engines for example, HotBot.com and info.com. I also learned what a filter bubble is a filter bubble is a result of a personalized search in which a website algorithm selectively guesses what information a user would like to see based on information about the user.

Recommending a Computer

From this assignment I learned how to determine the right products that fits the customer description. I could apply this to my life because, if I go to buy a computer I know what to ask for. Some challenges I faced was finding the information the customer needed. Another challenge was how long it took. Finding exactly what you want at times may be difficult because it took more time than expected but i overcame that by adding more details.

What is Computer Science or E-Commerce?

Electronic commerce is changing the way the commerce is being used. Computer science graduates will need to be prepared for the challenge posed by the increasing demand for professionals who can develop and maintain electronic commerce systems. By examining the standard computer science curriculum, some suggestions are proposed. E- Commerce is exploring the way to spend and finance. I will use this tips when i get older and buy a house and car and pay bills.
